Commissions are priced based on the subjects’ originality, complexity, material costs and time allotted for the project. The customer will be contacted during key phases of the project for comments or suggestions. All work is contracted, and a non-refundable deposit required.
The principal artist is Charles Wesley (Wes) Jordan, Jr. Ph.D., PE (Ret.).
I worked in industry for many years then started my own engineering consulting firm. I then taught Chemical Process Safety at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and then at the University of Connecticut. After retirement, I took art lessons from Vanessa Fuller Brown, a gifted, well-known, and highly respected mural artist.
Typically, my work is impressionistic but can be representational. I work mainly in oil and acrylic mediums but have done some work with watercolors. Landscapes and wildlife are my main interests at present. I do try to emulate an old master’s work from time to time. I have been commissioned to paint a large original abstract for display in the customer’s home. When completed, the work will be displayed in our gallery.
Our studio will maintain contact with the client during key points during the work. Customer satisfaction clearly is enhanced as a result.
Please review the gallery. Previously sold art is displayed with customer approval and are used as exemplars. Prices of art for sale will include packaging, shipping, and taxes on the final invoice.
